Nice: Business on the French Riviera

Have you ever thought about visiting Nice? easyJet flies to Nice twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays.

Nice is closer to the Algarve, Alentejo and southern Spain.

You can fly there from Faro in just 2h35. This is a great opportunity for business travellers: you can go to a meeting and fly back the same day, or stay longer and enjoy a weekend away. Distance is no excuse for not discovering such a magnificent city.

Companies such as Air France, H&M, Akka Technologies, Booking.com and Amazon have branch offices in Nice, as do hotel chains and technology companies, so the city has been a surprising destination as far as business is concerned.

Once your meeting is finished, you can pop over to the Vieille Ville or Old Town. This is the old part of the city, with narrow alleyways, colourful little houses and a range of options for dinner at a traditional restaurant or simply for enjoying an ice cream. You can also combine your business trip with a visit to the castle – the Château de Nice. If it’s sunny (which it often is in Nice), why not go for a stroll along the Promenade des Anglais? The scenery as you walk along this seafront avenue is simply stunning. If you have some time to spare, you could sample some French cuisine and combine a marvellous view with dinner or a business meeting. Does that sound awful? 😉

Nice is, without a shadow of doubt, a great destination for leisure or business. And if you go from Faro Airport, you can fly there direct!
