Bordeaux: A place of business and leisure

Book your trip to Bordeaux this autumn/winter!

The flight time is 2h05, and easyJet offers direct weekly flights from Faro Airport to Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport on Mondays and Fridays.

A visit to Bordeaux is a chance to open up multiple business opportunities. On top of its extensive transport network and wide choice of hotels and restaurants, the city has dozens of coworking spaces, allowing you to hold your meetings in a different space, and offers a variety of activities for after your engagements.

For shopping and down-time, visit Rue Sainte Catherine, the longest pedestrian shopping street in Europe. At night, swing by the Saint Pierre district, where you’ll find a diverse range of restaurants to try the delicious local cuisine. You’ll also find bars and pubs there if you fancy a glass of wine or a cocktail.

You might also want to spend an afternoon or a morning seeing the tourist attractions in Bordeaux. If you have a meeting scheduled around the Place de la Bourse, for example, which is close to the Chamber of Commerce building, be sure to catch a glimpse of the Miroir d’Eau reflecting pool, especially at night, when the buildings are all lit up.

Bordeaux is also known for its unparalleled wine, and has more than 4,000 vineyards. Save some time to visit the Château Pape Clément, an estate that has been producing Grand Crus wines since the 13th century. The vineyard also has a stunning garden, populated with various types of plant and boasting statues that you can admire while sipping on your wine.

With plenty of leisure opportunities to fit around your business engagements, Bordeaux will welcome you with open arms. There’s no doubt that there are some unforgettable experiences awaiting you in Bordeaux.
