Basel: The Swiss city of international academic mobility

The time has come to decide where to continue your studies!

EasyJet offers direct flights on Mondays and Fridays from Faro Airport to EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg, which is four kilometers from Basel. The journey between the airport and the city can be made by taxi, train or tram.

In Basel, you can get from A to B by walking. Its charming little narrow streets are just asking to be strolled down. The city also has cycle paths and good infrastructure for bikes, making it easy and practical to get around on two wheels.

To help you decide, why not consider some of Basel’s prestigious universities: University of Basel, Fachhochschule in Basel, Basel School of Business and Music Akademy Basel, the latter being a global benchmark in music education.

It’s no coincidence that Erasmus of Rotterdam, after whom the Erasmus Program is named, sought refuge in Basel and lived out his last years in this beautiful city, where he was met with unique Swiss hospitality.

Perfect for students, Basel is a place where you can be sure to have a fantastic experience abroad, absorbing everything the city has to offer. You’ll have a hard time not falling in love with it!
